About

Raised bilingually in Poland and Germany, I have been working as a translator and journalist in the UK for seven years. I am proficient in all three languages and able to translate texts to a high standard. I have a sharp, analytical journalistic style.

My main areas of interest are working-class history and radical politics, music and youth subcultures. Until my recent relocation to Italy, I have been the London correspondent for Melodie und Rhythmus, a major German music and culture magazine, and London news assistant for the celebrity magazine Bunte.

I have translated historical and academic works from German and Polish into English for publishers such as Brill and Laika.

For examples of my articles and translations, please see my portfolio.
