Maciej Zurowski is a freelance translator and journalist working in English, German and Polish. Until his recent move to Italy, he was the London correspondent for the German music magazine Melodie und Rhythmus. His journalistic work has also been featured in publications such as Jacobin, Hintergrund, Street Sounds and Havana Times.

His most recent English translations are the historical biography Otto Bauer (1881-1938): Thinker and Politician, Manuel Kellner’s biography of Ernest Mandel, Against Capitalism and Bureaucracy (to be published mid-2022) and Michael Sommer’s Anti-Postone. He is presently translating Axel Weipert’s The Second Revolution: The Council Movement in Berlin 1919-20 from German into English.

Moreover, Maciej has authored a chapter for the Laika Theorie volume Antifa heißt Luftangriff (2013), and he has worked as London correspondent for the German celebrity magazine Bunte.
